Community rallies together to support family of man shot and killed in Takoma Park

TAKOMA PARK, Md. — The local community is joining forces to raise funds for the family of a man who was tragically shot and killed in Takoma Park. A GoFundMe page has been set up in memory of 40-year-old Ronih Murat Pacal, a devoted father of two, who passed away from his injuries on Tuesday.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting in the early hours of Tuesday, December 5, in the 6700 block of New Hampshire Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, Ronih Murat Pacal, who had been fatally shot. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives investigating the case have yet to release any information regarding the circumstances leading up to the shooting. At present, there are no leads on a suspect or a motive for the crime.

In response to this tragic event, Ronih’s friends have organized a GoFundMe campaign to assist his family with funeral expenses during this difficult time. Ronih leaves behind a wife and two young children, aged 4 and 6.
