“Forest Ranger Trampled by Elephant in Odisha” : Forest Ranger Prashant Pal Trampled to Death by Wild Tusker in Odisha

A forest ranger named Prashant Pal was tragically trampled to death by a wild tusker in the Narla range of the Kalahandi district on Sunday. Pal, who was attached to the Narla Range in the Kalahandi North Division, was trying to chase away a herd of elephants that had wandered into the farms near Jampadar village. Along with his team, he went to the spot to ensure the safety of the villagers.

As they were pushing the elephants back to the forest, one of the elephants suddenly charged at Pal and crushed him. He was immediately rushed to the Bhawanipatna Hospital in a serious condition, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
