Weehawken Schools Mourns the Loss of Dedicated Educator, Mrs. Patricia Allegretta
The Weehawken Township School District (WTSD) is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Patricia Allegretta, a beloved and dedicated educator who left an indelible mark on the community. Mrs. Allegretta, who began her teaching career in Weehawken in 1968, devoted 42 years of her life to educating students and fostering a love for reading. Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to her students will be forever remembered and cherished.

Throughout her long and illustrious career, Mrs. Allegretta played a pivotal role in shaping the minds of countless students. Mrs. Allegretta’s love of reading was contagious, and she tirelessly sought to instill that same love in her students.
Upon her retirement in 2010, Mrs. Allegretta’s impact on the Weehawken community was celebrated by students, colleagues, and parents alike. Her dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to education left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
