Dangerous Sex Addiction : “Adimenu: The Deadly Herbal Mixture Linked to Addictions and Fatalities”

A deadly combination of cow urine and herbs, known as Adimenu, is being openly sold in markets, shops, and streets without regulation, despite its bogus claims to cure several diseases. The addictive nature of this ‘hard’ drug has left many users weak, severely dehydrated, unconscious, and, in some cases, dead. Ibukun Ayodele, a 25-year-old man, expresses concern for his mother, who is dangerously addicted to Adimenu to relieve her back pain. He understands the risks involved in using medications not prescribed by a medical practitioner and fears for her health. However, he feels powerless to intervene due to her attachment to the herbal mixture.

Other users and relatives of those who have consumed Adimenu confirm its addictive nature. Alimi, a middle-aged man, reveals that his mother cannot sleep without using the herbal concoction. He explains that Adimenu contains cow urine and was initially given to his mother to help her sleep soundly. Now, she is dependent on it.

Rafiu Adebowale, a commercial bus driver, admits to using Adimenu regularly to relieve cold bouts, chest congestion, and body pains. He praises its effectiveness but expresses concern about its abuse by youth who use it as a replacement for other hard drugs.

Tragically, some individuals have died after using Adimenu. One co-driver mistakenly swallowed the mixture and later died, while others have also lost their lives. The drug gained attention on social media when a doctor posted about the complications and deaths associated with its consumption.

Adimenu is not only addictive but also used as a sex booster and libido enhancer by some men. The drug is known to have side effects, and addiction is difficult to overcome.

The sale and use of Adimenu without regulation pose a significant risk to public health. The government and relevant authorities need to take action to protect the population from the dangers of this deadly combination. Public awareness campaigns, stricter regulations, and enforcement are necessary to prevent further harm and ensure the safety of individuals who may unknowingly consume this dangerous drug.
