Death Notice – The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has officially identified Zackery Leffler, a 25-year-old resident of Burlington, Kentucky, as the victim of a fatal car accident on Interstate 80 earlier this week.
The tragic incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on December 5 when a large truck, traveling eastbound, crossed over the middle barrier and crashed into Leffler’s 2023 Dodge Ram pickup truck, which was heading west.

According to a statement from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the truck then broke through the guardrail and came to a stop in a ditch on the north side of the road. The driver of the truck, identified as Davit Fluidze, a 53-year-old man from Manville, New Jersey, was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for treatment.
