An 11-year-old girl, named Padamasree, tragically passed away at the Pampa hospital in Sabarimala. The young girl collapsed while waiting for darshan at the holy site of Appachimedu. She was immediately rushed to the hospital but sadly could not be saved.
Padamasree, hailing from Salem in Tamil Nadu, was the daughter of Kumaran and Jayalakshmi. According to doctors at the Pampa hospital, the girl collapsed at approximately 4:15 p.m. and succumbed to her condition around 45 minutes later. Preliminary medical examinations revealed that Padamasree had been suffering from a heart-related disease since the tender age of three.

Hospital authorities confirmed that the cause of death was congenital heart disease. With the permission of the police, the body was handed over to the girl’s grief-stricken father. The tragic incident has left the family devastated and the community in mourning.
