The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Joseph K. Chastain from Portland, was eventually apprehended. On Dec. 7, he was booked into a detention center and now faces felony charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of road rage and the potential for violence in such situations. Authorities have not provided further details regarding the motive behind the attack. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with additional information is encouraged to come forward and assist the authorities in their efforts.
