Head-on Crash in Itasca County Claims Life of Young Man from Hibbing
Hibbing, MN – A tragic head-on collision between a car and a semi-truck early Saturday morning resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man from northern Minnesota. The incident occurred on Highway 169 in Itasca County, just east of Calumet, approximately 15 miles southwest of Hibbing.

According to the State Patrol, the victim, identified as Levi Greenwood of Hibbing, was driving north on Highway 169 when his car veered into the northbound lane, leading to a collision with the oncoming truck. The fatal crash was reported shortly after 4:30 AM.
The truck driver, 51-year-old Christopher Jensen of Grand Rapids, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
