MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) – The McAllen Police Department has identified the individuals involved in a tragic murder-suicide case at Coast Asian Bistro and Bar on Friday. The victim, Yin Min Jiang, aged 46 and a resident of McAllen, was shot and killed by the suspect, Zeng Wang Huang, aged 58.

The incident occurred around 12:42 p.m. when authorities received multiple reports of gunshots in the 7000 block of North 10th St. The altercation started as a verbal argument between Huang and Jiang inside the restaurant. Huang then pulled out a gun and shot Jiang, leading to her immediate death.

After the initial shooting, Huang proceeded to the patio area of the restaurant where he shot another man. The suspect ultimately turned the gun on himself, resulting in his own death. The second victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
