Khirki Extension woman’s death” : “30-Year-Old Woman’s Body Found in South Delhi Apartment: Saniya Rai Identified as Victim

The body of a 30-year-old woman was discovered in an apartment in the Khirki Extension area of south Delhi, according to police reports on Saturday. Authorities received a PCR call at approximately 7:30 pm on Friday from the Malviya Nagar police station, alerting them to a foul smell emanating from the woman’s flat.

Upon receiving the call, a staff member was dispatched to the scene. The apartment, which had been locked from the inside, was opened in the presence of the owner and neighbors. Inside, the body of the woman, identified as Saniya Rai, was found. Police officials stated that no external injuries were observed, as the body had already decomposed.

The crime team conducted a thorough inspection of the spot, and the body was subsequently sent for postmortem examination. Authorities have initiated proceedings under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), and further investigations are currently underway.
