Karnataka, India: Two teachers have been suspended by the Karnataka Education Department on charges of sexually harassing girl students in a school located in the Shivamogga district. The suspended teachers have been identified as headmaster Nagaraj Kori and assistant teacher Shanthakumar.

The incident took place at a Government school in Soppinakeri village. A complaint was made against assistant teacher Shanthakumar, but headmaster Nagaraj Kori failed to take any action in response. The matter was then reported to the Block Education Officer (BEO), who conducted an investigation and submitted a report confirming the allegations.
