Police Investigate Alleged Robbery at Sonic Drive-In in Shawnee County
Law enforcement authorities in Shawnee County are currently investigating a man in connection with an alleged robbery incident. According to Lt. Jerry Monasmith, the incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on December 3 at the Sonic drive-in located at 5922 SW 21st Street in Topeka.

After receiving a report regarding the robbery, officers swiftly responded to the scene. A victim recounted that a male suspect, later identified as 37-year-old William Kellogg, entered the establishment and demanded money. Kellogg managed to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash before swiftly fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, officers were able to quickly locate and apprehend an individual who matched Kellogg’s description. The arrest was made without any further incident.
Following a thorough investigation, the police subsequently transported Kellogg to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections. He now faces requested charges of Robbery and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
