In a tragic incident at Mentor Green Mobile Estates in Ohio, Jason Norris is believed to have shot and killed three people before taking his own life. The horrifying incident took place on November 16, and newly released body camera footage shows the chaos that unfolded that day.

The police arrived at the mobile home park just minutes after receiving several reports of shots fired. Officers recalled encountering gunfire from the suspect, 47-year-old Jason Norris, as they approached the scene. One officer described the situation as “sketchy” and mentioned hearing bullets whizzing past him.

Upon arriving at the scene, one officer quickly learned from a witness that Norris was the shooter. The witness revealed that Norris had been causing trouble and had recently been evicted from the park. The officer had actually been called to Norris’ unit earlier that morning, as Norris had been suspicious of being spied on by his neighbors.

As the officers assessed the situation, they discovered multiple victims. They swiftly transported the injured to paramedics, but unfortunately, three people succumbed to their injuries. The victims were identified as 62-year-old property manager Laura Colon, 81-year-old Thomas Galiza, and 63-year-old Terrance Mathis.

Despite being shot at, none of the officers returned gunfire. The police department has released over two dozen video clips, some lasting up to three hours, showcasing the dedication and bravery of the first responders who stayed at the scene.
