KLANG: The body of a woman found encased in cement in a bathroom in Kampung Pendamar has been identified as that of an Indian national. Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan revealed that the victim was in her 30s and 160cm tall. The police are currently gathering more information from the Indian High Commission and plan to contact the victim’s family. It was discovered that the woman was the girlfriend of the previous tenant of the house.
The main suspect in the murder investigation is also an Indian national, and the police are seeking assistance from the Indian High Commission and Indian police to locate and apprehend the suspects. Comm Hussein stated that 10 witnesses have been called in for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation. He expressed hope that with these new developments, the case would be solved soon.

The police have obtained a sketch of the victim based on witness statements and are urging anyone with information about her or who may have known her to come forward and contact the nearest police station. Previously, a 53-year-old foreign man was detained in connection with the case, and authorities are now tracking down two other foreigners.
The body was discovered on December 3 at 10:58 pm by a foreign man who was assigned to conduct house repairs. It was revealed that the house had been rented by two foreign men from August 2019 until October last year. The house owner inspected the toilet before renting it to new tenants and found that the water tub was covered in cement. The previous tenant gave an excuse that there was liquid from a rat carcass flowing into the water tub.
Last month, the house owner hired foreign workers to fix the roof, and it was one of these workers who informed the owner about the body encased in cement. The police were then alerted, and the body was recovered after the water tub was smashed open.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police are determined to bring the perpetrators to justice.
