In a shocking incident, a woman named Prabhdeep has been accused of scamming her husband’s family for a large sum of money and withholding her husband’s Permanent Residency (PR) in Canada. The case has been registered with the authorities, and an investigation is underway.

The victim’s mother, Hardeep Kaur, revealed that her son, Mandeep Singh, is a government teacher residing in Nawahshehr. The families of Mandeep and Prabhdeep were closely connected, and their marriage was proposed by Prabhdeep’s father, Bhupinder Singh, in 2017.

In December 2017, Bhupinder Singh sought financial assistance from Hardeep’s family to support Prabhdeep’s studies in Canada. Mandeep’s family agreed and lent them a substantial amount of 10 lakhs and 48 thousand INR. Prabhdeep traveled to Canada in February 2018 but returned in October the same year to marry Mandeep. The couple tied the knot on October 13.

However, just three months after their marriage, Mandeep visited Prabhdeep in Canada and discovered that she had changed. He felt betrayed by her actions, which also shattered their marriage’s sanctity and his family’s trust. Prabhdeep’s father went as far as threatening Mandeep’s future and demanded 10 lakh INR to bring him to Canada. Hardeep Kaur reluctantly provided 5 lakhs to Bhupinder, but he broke his promise. It was later revealed that Prabhdeep had marked her status as separated on Mandeep’s PR file, resulting in his exemption from obtaining PR.

An FIR has been filed against Prabhdeep and Bhupinder Singh at the Nawahshehr police station. The authorities are currently investigating the matter to uncover the full extent of the scam and deceit perpetrated by Prabhdeep.

This incident has left Mandeep’s family devastated and shattered their dreams of a better future in Canada. They put their trust in Prabhdeep and her family, only to be scammed and betrayed. The legal proceedings will determine the appropriate actions to be taken against the accused parties and provide justice to the victims of this deceitful act.
