Two people have been hospitalized after a stabbing incident in Berkeley on Friday evening, according to the Berkeley Police Department. The suspect is still at large and the police are actively searching for him. The incident occurred on El Camino Real near the Oakridge Steps at around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Following a report of a possible home intruder, the police arrived at the scene and found two victims who were subsequently taken to Highland Hospital. The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Byron Decles, who is described as being around 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9 with blond hair. An image of Decles has been released by the authorities. The suspect managed to flee the scene before the arrival of the police and is believed to be armed with a cutting instrument, as stated by the police.
