A Palestinian young man died on Saturday from serious gunshot wounds sustained during an Israeli army attack on the Al-Fara’a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The Ministry of Health confirmed that a total of seven Palestinians were killed in the assault, including a 14-year-old child. Rami Jamal Al-Jandab, 25, succumbed to his critical injuries, bringing the death toll to seven.

The attack began when undercover Israeli agents infiltrated the camp, followed by a large number of reinforcements. During the assault, at least five other young men were shot with live rounds, and two others were abducted.

The death of Al-Jandab adds to the grim statistics of Palestinian lives lost in the West Bank. Since October 7, Israeli forces and illegal settlers have killed a total of 264 Palestinians.

The six Palestinians killed on Friday, along with Al-Jandab, were identified as Maher Abdullah Ahmad Jawabra, 14, Emad Nihad Khaled Jawabra, 18, Omar Bassem Mahmoud Sobeh, 23, Qassem Mohammad Mustafa Daraghma, 33, Tha’er Abdullah Shahin, 36, and Bara’ Mousa Al-Amir, 30.

The Israeli army’s continued attacks on Palestinian communities have drawn international condemnation. Human rights organizations have accused the Israeli government of excessive use of force and violations of international law.

The Al-Fara’a refugee camp, located south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, is home to thousands of Palestinians displaced during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. The camp has been subjected to frequent Israeli incursions and attacks over the years.
