A woman and her two children were discovered dead in their home in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The woman’s husband has been accused of murdering them, and the police have booked him for the crime. The incident occurred on Thursday, and the man had attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself. However, he was rescued in time and is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Rina, her daughter Gursifat, who was also known as Jiya, and her one-and-a-half-year-old son Kriyansh. The Superintendent of Police, Surinder Singh Bhoria, stated that a case has been registered against Rina’s husband, Rakesh, as well as his father-in-law, mother-in-law, and other relatives, based on a complaint lodged by Rina’s brother.

Rakesh was found hanging by his family on Thursday morning, and he was immediately taken to a nearby government hospital. Later, he was referred to the Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College in Karnal for further treatment. Rina’s brother, Sanjeev Kumar, alleged in his police complaint that Rina’s in-laws had been pressuring her to bring money, as Rakesh wanted to go to the United States.
Kumar informed the police that they were informed about Rina and the children’s deteriorating health and their admission to the hospital. However, when they reached the family’s residence, they discovered the tragic deaths and learned about Rakesh’s suicide attempt.
The bodies have been handed over to the family, and the exact cause of death will be determined once the reports are available. The SHO (Station House Officer) of Jhansa police station, Pardeep Kumar, mentioned that Rakesh’s family members claimed to have seen him hanging through a window at around 7:15 am on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rina and the children were found unconscious and were immediately rushed to the hospital, where they were declared dead.
