Toronto, December 9, 2023 – The Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI) held its Fall Graduation Ceremony today at the Toronto Police College on Birmingham Street. The event marked the successful completion of the program by a group of talented and dedicated young individuals.

The YIPI is an innovative program that provides valuable training and work experience to youth between the ages of 15 and 18 who are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. The program aims to engage young people in positive activities, develop their leadership skills, and foster a sense of civic responsibility.

The graduation ceremony began at 9:30 a.m. and lasted until 11:00 a.m. It was attended by proud family members, friends, and representatives from the Toronto Police Service.
