Clinton Man Killed in Summit County Crash

A 42-year-old man from Clinton, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday night in Summit County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place around 10:34 p.m. on West Nimisila Road near Redbird Terrace.

According to authorities, the driver, identified as Jon T. Miller, was traveling westbound in a 2008 Dodge Ram truck when the vehicle veered off the right side of the road. The truck then collided with several trees, causing Miller to be ejected from the vehicle.

Despite the prompt arrival of emergency services, Miller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Summit County Medical Examiner’s office. The Highway Patrol confirmed that Miller was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol received assistance from the New Franklin Township Police Department and New Franklin Fire Department in managing the accident. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
