Cha Jan “Jerry” Chang, Central Michigan University Graduate, Among Victims in University of Nevada Las Vegas Shooting

One of the victims in the University of Nevada Las Vegas shooting was a former student of Central Michigan University. Cha Jan “Jerry” Chang, aged 64, was identified as one of three faculty members who tragically lost their lives in the shooting incident. Another faculty member was injured in the attack.

According to his online resume, Chang obtained a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from CMU in 1986. Since 2001, he had been working as an instructor at the UNLV Business School. Chang’s dedication and passion for education were evident throughout his career.

Meanwhile, back in Michigan, students from Michigan State University showed their support for the UNLV community by repainting the rock on campus.
