“Bus accident call center death” : Female Call Center Agent Killed in Bus Accident in Talomo, Davao City

A tragic accident occurred on Thursday night along MacArthur Highway in Ulas, Barangay Talomo, resulting in the death of a female call center agent. The victim’s identity has not been released by the police, but the bus driver has been identified as Ronie Pagatpatan, a 32-year-old resident of Makilala, North Cotabato.

According to initial investigations, the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. The Mindanao Star-Hino Bus, with plate number DAZ5757, was traveling in the innermost lane from the south direction towards Bangkal. The driver struck the victim, who was in the center of the road, while she was preparing to cross the highway.

Tragically, the call center agent was declared dead at the scene by the responding paramedics. The driver has been detained by the authorities and will be held responsible for the victim’s death. In order to gather more evidence and insights into the accident, the police are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident.
