Two-Year-Old Girl and Bus Driver Crushed to Death in Separate Accidents in Ogun State

A tragic accident in Ogun state has claimed the lives of a bus driver and a two-year-old girl in separate incidents. The first accident occurred when a truck driver, identified as Emmanuel Alfred, collided with a commercial bus, resulting in the death of the bus driver, Alfa Rafiu. The bus driver was repairing his vehicle when the truck rammed into it. The truck driver has since been arrested by the police.

In the second accident, a vehicle struck and killed a two-year-old girl in Warewa, in the Obafemi Owode local government area. The driver of the vehicle was unaware that his rear tire had run over the child and continued driving until bystanders alerted him. The driver and other witnesses rushed the injured child to a nearby clinic, but she was later pronounced dead by the attending doctor. The driver has been detained by the authorities.

Both incidents have caused shock and grief in the communities affected. The body of the bus driver has been taken to the Real Divine Touch Mortuary in Ibafo, while the child’s corpse has been released for burial. The police are investigating both accidents to determine the exact causes and ensure that justice is served.

Road accidents continue to be a major concern in Nigeria, with reckless driving and poor road conditions often contributing to tragic outcomes.
