Middletown Man Dies in Car Crash After Hitting Tree

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — A Middletown man has tragically died after his car crashed into a tree late Wednesday night. Matthew Le Clair, 30, was driving an Infiniti Q50 on Atkins St. in the area of Timber Ridge Road when the accident occurred.

Police and firefighters were called to the scene just after 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the vehicle with heavy damage and Le Clair trapped inside. The car had veered off the road and collided with a tree. Westfield firefighters worked diligently to rescue Le Clair from the wreckage, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
