TOWN OF BROWNING, Wis. (WEAU/Gray News) – A man has tragically lost his life in a loader accident at a sawmill in Wisconsin, according to local news outlet WEAU.
The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the Crass Sawmill in the Town of Browning, Wisconsin. Emergency services were alerted to the incident when they received a report that a man had been run over by a loader.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the man was already deceased and had suffered head trauma. The victim has been identified as Mark Frischman, aged 43.
Reports suggest that Frischman was engaged in conversation with another individual near a loader that was unloading a tractor-trailer. When their conversation ended, the other person walked away, only to turn around and find that Frischman had been backed over by the loader.
Authorities have stated that the loader operator did not have access to a backup camera or backup alarms, and was therefore unaware of Frischman’s presence in the loader’s path. It is believed that Frischman may not have heard the loader approaching due to the noise from nearby tractor-trailers and other equipment.
The incident is currently being investigated by authorities to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
