FORREST COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) – Authorities have identified a man who lost his life in a tragic incident involving a collision between his vehicle and a train on Wednesday. The deceased individual has been named as Micah Ladner, a 37-year-old resident of Wiggins. The unfortunate accident took place in the Fruitland Park area around noon.
According to Lisa Klem, the Deputy Coroner of Forrest County, Ladner was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident has prompted an investigation by the Kansas City Southern Railway Company in conjunction with the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office.
