The surveillance video reveals the man pacing around the bank lobby before pulling out a handgun from his waistband. He then quickly approaches Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brent Brown, who was sitting at a desk.

Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes expressed his thoughts on the incident, stating, “Looking at what actually happened, we can speculate that the suspect was there to rob the bank. He saw the deputy as a threat and wanted to take him out first before carrying out his robbery plan. However, little did he know that he had encountered a deputy who wouldn’t go down so easily.”

The police were able to apprehend Williams a few hours later. Meanwhile, Deputy Brent Brown is currently receiving treatment at the hospital following the incident, which took place on November 27. Fortunately, he is expected to make a full recovery.
