A woman has been taken into custody on murder charges after a man was fatally shot earlier today in Montgomery, according to local authorities. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Williamson Road, prompting a swift response from Montgomery police and fire medics.

At approximately 12:16 p.m. on Tuesday, law enforcement and medical personnel arrived at the scene to conduct a death investigation, as confirmed by Maj. Saba Coleman.
