WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A disturbing incident unfolded on the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) campus, where an active shooter situation left three people injured and the suspected gunman dead. The lockdown in the arena was initiated due to the active shooter situation on the UNLV campus, as stated by Jim Boy Hash, the Garden City Community College Rodeo Coach, on Facebook.

The shooting was reported at the Frank and Estella Beam Hall building, which houses UNLV’s business school. The arena, where the rodeo competition is being held, is located slightly southwest of the business school.
