A man’s body was discovered near a dog park in Southington, Connecticut earlier this week, according to local police. The incident was reported on Monday morning when officers responded to a call about an individual lying on the ground near the park.

The victim has been identified as 65-year-old Alan Legat, who was reportedly homeless at the time of his death. Authorities have notified his next of kin.
