A man’s body was discovered near a dog park in Southington, Connecticut earlier this week, according to local police. The incident was reported on Monday morning when officers responded to a call about an individual lying on the ground near the park.
The victim has been identified as 65-year-old Alan Legat, who was reportedly homeless at the time of his death. Authorities have notified his next of kin.

The medical examiner’s office was called to the scene, and an autopsy is currently pending to determine the cause of death. While the investigation is ongoing, the police have stated that there are no indications of foul play.
