A 19-year-old man was tragically electrocuted while working at a wedding venue in the Lasudia police station area on Monday. The police are currently investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding it and are gathering statements from those involved.
The victim, identified as Narayan Gurjar, hailed from Udaipur and was residing in Nandbagh Colony, Chhota Bangarda. He had been hired by an event manager to set up the sound system for a wedding function at the Chandraleela marriage garden. While he was arranging the equipment, he accidentally came into contact with an electric wire and suffered a fatal electric shock. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved. Narayan had been married for a year and leaves behind his parents and wife. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and have sent the body for autopsy.

In a separate incident, a 16-year-old boy was electrocuted by a high-voltage line while playing cricket in the Chandan Nagar area on Tuesday. The police are also looking into this case to determine the exact circumstances that led to the tragedy.
The victim, Mohammad Riyan, lived on Mishrawala Road in the Chandan Nagar area. While playing cricket with his friends near Ring Road, the ball accidentally landed on a tin shed. In an attempt to retrieve the ball, Mohammad climbed onto the tin shed and came into contact with a high-voltage line that passed over it. The electric shock caused him to be electrocuted and he fell from the shed, breaking his neck. The police have initiated an investigation and the body has been sent for autopsy.
These incidents serve as a grim reminder of the dangers posed by electricity and the need for caution when working or playing in its vicinity. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
