The accused, David Manuel Sanchez-Gallardo, 33, was apprehended by the Woodland Police Department. The incident unfolded when a 36-year-old man exited a business in the 100 block of West Main Street near Cottonwood Street and began making threats. Later on, Sanchez-Gallardo, identified as the assailant, drove his vehicle into the business and struck the 36-year-old individual. Following the collision, Sanchez-Gallardo fatally shot the man. Police officers who arrived at the scene promptly arrested him. Authorities stated that an ongoing dispute between the two men and someone inside the business preceded the violent act.
