Montgomery, Alabama – An investigation is underway by the Montgomery Police Department following a fatal traffic accident on Monday evening. The crash occurred on Eastern Boulevard near Hitching Post Lane, resulting in the death of one person.
Responding to the scene just before 6 p.m., the Montgomery Police Department and Fire Medics discovered two individuals, a man and a woman, inside the vehicle. The woman, whose identity remains unknown, sustained life-threatening injuries. Tragically, the male passenger, identified as Joshua Cortezie, a 35-year-old resident of Prattville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
