34-Year-Old Burnsville Man Identified as Victim in Fatal Minneapolis Shooting

A man from Burnsville, aged 34, has been identified as the victim in a shooting incident that occurred in Minneapolis. The medical examiner confirmed the identity of the deceased as Darius Renee Wilson. The tragic incident took place at the intersection of East Lake Street and 12th Avenue South shortly after midnight on Monday. Wilson was found on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest.

In addition to Wilson, a woman in her 40s was also shot during the incident. She was promptly taken to Hennepin Healthcare to receive medical treatment for her injuries. Fortunately, the police have stated that her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
