Shillong, 4th December: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has reported that three more soldiers have died in the ongoing battle against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.
The soldiers who lost their lives have been identified as Sgt Major Neriya Shaer, aged 36, from the Paratroopers brigade; Sgt First class (res) Ben Zussman, aged 22; and Sgt Binyamin Yehoshua Needham, aged 19, both combat engineering soldiers from the 401st Armoured brigade.

These three soldiers were killed on Sunday, just two days after Israel resumed its attacks in Gaza following the end of a seven-day humanitarian truce in the Hamas-controlled area.
Since the start of the ground operations on the 27th of October, a total of 75 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza. As for the entire war that began on the 7th of October, the IDF has reported the deaths of 401 soldiers, with the majority being killed on the day of Hamas’s unprecedented assault.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas has been ongoing for several months, with both sides engaging in intense fighting. Israel has been carrying out airstrikes and ground operations to target Hamas militants, while Hamas has been launching rockets into Israel.
The situation has resulted in the loss of numerous lives and has caused significant damage to infrastructure in the area. The international community has been calling for an end to the violence and urging both sides to engage in peaceful negotiations.

The IDF’s announcement of the deaths of these three soldiers is a somber reminder of the human cost of the conflict.
