Six Labourers Killed in Shimla District Accident Identified as Farid, Gulab, Sahbir, and Talib

Six workers were killed and six others were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in fell into a gorge near Sunni in Shimla district on Monday morning, according to the police. The accident occurred at Kararghat, approximately 35 kilometers away from Shimla, when the driver lost control of the pickup truck. The workers, who were from Jammu and Kashmir, were en route to Mandi at the time of the incident.

Tragically, three workers died on the spot, while the remaining three succumbed to their injuries while being treated at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH). The injured workers are currently receiving medical treatment at the same hospital.

The four deceased workers have been identified as Farid, Gulab, Sahbir, and Talib. However, the identities of the other two workers are yet to be determined, the police reported. A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident.
