Six workers were killed and six others were injured when their vehicle plunged into a gorge near Sunni in Shimla district on Monday morning, according to police reports. The tragic incident occurred at Kararghat, approximately 35 km away from Shimla, when the driver lost control of the pickup truck. The workers, originally from Jammu and Kashmir, were en route to Mandi when the accident took place.
Sadly, three workers lost their lives instantly, while the remaining three were pronounced dead by doctors. The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH). The deceased have been identified as Farid, Gulab, Sahbir, and Talib, while the identities of the remaining two victims have yet to be established, police officials stated.
