During the investigation, an Indiana State Police trooper made a traffic stop and identified a suspect matching the shooter’s description. The person stopped was identified as 21-year-old Isaiah Ramos from Linton, Indiana.

Ramos was traveling with two other individuals, all of whom were detained and taken to the Bloomington Police Department for questioning.

Based on witness statements, it appears that Ramos and his companions had been denied entry to the house party due to one individual having a visible handgun. This refusal led to an altercation, which eventually spilled into a nearby alley where Ramos allegedly fired the fatal shots.

Ramos has been charged with murder and criminal recklessness and is currently in custody at the Monroe County Jail.
