Two individuals have lost their lives in Fauquier County, Virginia, as a result of a crash involving a single-engine plane on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities. The incident occurred at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport when the pilot, who was the only person on board, was attempting to land the Beech C23 plane. Unfortunately, the aircraft collided with several trees before crashing into a field located around 3/4 of a mile southeast of the airport. The impact caused the plane to catch fire near Midland Road and Ebenezer Church Road. The pilot, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
