Fatal Shooting at Arbor Place Apartments: Howard Jordan, 35, Found Dead; Suspect Jessee Bailey Jr. Sought for First-Degree Murder

After a tragic shooting incident on Sunday morning, the Knoxville Police Department has provided new details and confirmed that they are still pursuing the suspect in the killing.

The incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on Sunday when officers from the Knoxville Police Department rushed to the Arbor Place Apartments on Lula Powell Drive. The police had received a report of a shooting near the downtown area of Knoxville.

Upon arriving at the scene, the officers found a man who had been shot at least once inside one of the apartments. The victim, identified as Howard Jordan, a 35-year-old male, was discovered deceased inside the apartment.

Reports suggest that the suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived.

On Monday, the Knoxville Police Department announced that they have obtained arrest warrants for Jessee Bailey Jr., a 28-year-old resident of Knoxville. Bailey has been charged with first-degree murder and two additional counts of attempted first-degree murder. Besides shooting Jordan, Bailey is also accused of firing at two other individuals present in the apartment.

The police have advised the public to consider Bailey as armed and dangerous, and they are actively searching for him.
