Brody Shipe, 21, Identified as Deceased Driver in Tragic State Highway 65 Crash

Polk County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal crash on State Highway 65 as 21-year-old Brody Shipe from New Richmond, Wisconsin. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, November 30, 2023, when authorities received a distressing 911 call at 10:43 p.m.

Responding promptly to the emergency, law enforcement and first responders rushed to the scene near 20th Avenue in the town of Alden. Upon arrival, they discovered a pickup truck that had veered off the road and collided with trees. Unfortunately, the impact proved fatal for Shipe, who was found deceased at the crash site.
