Nebraska Man Arrested After Fatal Stabbing, Ross Nickolaus Killed

A man from Nebraska has been arrested after allegedly stabbing three people, resulting in the death of one individual. The incident took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. on December 2 in Aurora, prompting a response from the local police department.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a woman with severe injuries in the driveway of a neighboring residence. The Nebraska State Patrol reported that officers then observed a man, later identified as Caleb Arnett, holding a knife at the location mentioned in the emergency call.

Following a search of the premises, authorities found another man and a juvenile who had also sustained stab wounds. Regrettably, the man, identified as Ross Nickolaus, was pronounced dead at a hospital. The woman was transported to a medical facility for treatment of serious injuries, while the juvenile received medical attention for minor injuries and was subsequently released.

Arnett, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to a hospital before being transported to jail. He now faces charges of first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault.

At present, officials have not disclosed any information regarding a potential motive for the attack. Aurora is situated approximately 130 miles west of Omaha.

In other news, a woman was found fatally stabbed in her Georgia home, leading to the arrest of a suspect in Tennessee. Meanwhile, in New Mexico, a man allegedly decapitated his drinking companion with an axe and placed the head in a stove, according to federal authorities. Lastly, a road-rage incident in Michigan concluded with a woman being stabbed on the side of an interstate, as reported by the police.
