A man from Breaux Bridge has tragically lost his life in a late-night car crash. The incident occurred on Saturday, December 2, just before midnight, when the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call from a motorist who witnessed a potential single vehicle collision. The crash took place on Doyle Melancon Extension in Breaux Bridge.
According to the authorities, the driver, identified as 41-year-old Theodore “Teddy” Landry, was traveling south on Doyle Melancon Extension when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. Regrettably, Landry sustained severe injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
