Winnipegger Chad Allan, a founding member and original lead singer of the band Guess Who, has sadly passed away at the age of 80. Allan had been a key figure in the Canadian music industry and was recognized for his contributions by receiving the Order of Manitoba in 2015.

Throughout his career, Allan played various instruments including guitar, piano, and accordion. He was a part of Guess Who’s early success, recording three albums with the band before departing in 1966.
