Israeli troops, along with the Shin Bet internal security service, conducted a well-planned military operation to recover the body of Ofir Tsarfati, the fifth deceased hostage. His remains have been returned to Israel, where he will receive a dignified burial.

According to Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the Israeli military, Gaza operatives still hold 136 hostages captive, including 17 women and children. This shocking revelation has deepened the crisis and highlighted the human cost of the conflict, sending shockwaves throughout the nation.

The abduction of Ofir Tsarfati occurred during a brutal raid by Hamas militants near the Gaza Strip on October 7. This horrific incident resulted in the death of 1,200 people, mostly civilians, making it the deadliest attack in Israel’s 75-year history. Around 240 others were also abducted during the raid.

In response to this heinous act, Israel launched a significant military campaign against the perpetrators. However, the Hamas-run government in Gaza claims that this military action has caused over 15,000 fatalities, with the majority being innocent civilians. The rising death toll on both sides emphasizes the grim reality of the conflict and its devastating impact on innocent lives.
