KILLEEN, Texas — The Killeen Police Department has identified the person involved in a car accident that occurred at the intersection of Trimmier Road and Stagecoach Road. The victim has been identified as 48-year-old Emily Santiago Figueroa.
The incident took place on Friday, December 1, at around 7:10 p.m. Killeen Police received a call regarding a single vehicle crash at the aforementioned intersection. Upon arrival, officers discovered Figueroa, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, suffering from serious injuries. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital by Killeen EMS.

According to the investigation conducted by the police, a white 2021 BMW SUV was traveling southbound on Trimmier Road at an excessive speed when it veered off the road, colliding with a concrete retaining wall on the south side of the intersection with Stagecoach Road.
Sadly, Figueroa was pronounced dead at 8:52 p.m. on December 2 by Justice of the Peace Nicola James.
