1995 – The End of an Era for Patrick Roy
In 1995, legendary goaltender Patrick Roy played his final game for the Canadiens. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a memorable farewell as Roy allowed a staggering nine goals before coach Mario Tremblay decided to replace him. The Canadiens suffered a devastating 11-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings at the iconic Forum.

2014 – Mourning Jean Béliveau
