Saint Xavier High School Mourns the Loss of Brother Cornie Hubbuch ’54

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Brother Cornie Hubbuch, a beloved member of the Saint Xavier High School community. Brother Cornie, an alumnus of the Class of 1954, was a true Xaverian Giant who made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students and faculty members.

Brother Cornie’s dedication to his faith, his commitment to education, and his unwavering support for the Xaverian mission will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He exemplified the values of compassion, integrity, and service that are at the core of Saint Xavier High School.

As we mourn the loss of Brother Cornie, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord. We offer our prayers for the eternal rest of his soul and for the souls of all the faithful departed.

In honor of Brother Cornie’s memory, we invite the Saint Xavier High School community and all who were touched by his kindness to join us in celebrating his life and legacy. Details of a memorial service will be shared in the coming days.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Brother Cornie’s family and friends. We also offer our support to the entire Saint Xavier High School community as we come together to remember and honor Brother Cornie’s remarkable life.
