BANNU: One terrorist was killed and another one was arrested in an injured condition during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Bannu district, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
The Counter Terrorism Department (IBO) released a press statement stating that a major operation was carried out against terrorists in the Domail area of the district, with the involvement of several police stations.

According to the statement, when the terrorists noticed the presence of the police and CTD party, they opened fire. In self-defense, the police retaliated and managed to kill one terrorist named Rahimullah. Another terrorist, Sultan, was apprehended, while a third one named Irshad escaped in an injured state.
All three terrorists were found to be associated with the Hafiz Gul Bahadar group. They were involved in various attacks, including targeting the police during anti-polio vaccination campaigns and attacking police posts in Karak and other districts.
