TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A man has tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday night, Nov. 30. Responding to reports of the incident, officers from Operations Division South and personnel from the Tucson Fire Department rushed to the 5000 block of South Country Club Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. The collision involved a white 2008 Ford F-150.
The Tucson Police Department has identified the driver as 36-year-old Jorge Altamirano, who was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been notified of the devastating news. According to detectives, Altamirano had been traveling southbound on S. Country Club Rd. when his vehicle suddenly veered off the road. It then rolled over, resulting in the driver being ejected from the car. Investigators have determined that Altamirano was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
